If you’d like to make your private charter extra special, you can add on a picnic option! Enjoyed aboard or if you’re dreaming of a scenic picnic on a remote beach, food and drinks can be floated to shore for you to enjoy.

Tour Details
There are infinite ways to connect with the ocean. We can visit multiple secluded snorkel spots and explore the unique underwater volcanic coastline – home to pristine coral reefs that are vibrant with diverse tropical marine life. Or maybe you’d rather lounge aboard and enjoy the view of our beautiful bay in the humbling magnificence of 5 (yes, 5!) volcanoes, as your crew points out cultural and historical points of interest.
If ultimate relaxation is what you’re after, then sink back into our comfy cushioned seats and listen to our chill island-vibes playlist on our bluetooth surround sound system as your captain takes you far away from resorts and residences to cruise the mostly untouched coastline of North Kohala. Along the way we will look for our resident pod of spinner dolphins (naiʻa), pilot whales, and other sea-life. If you’re feeling a little too sun-kissed, we can cool off with a refreshing dip or two in the crystal clear waters along the Kohala coast.
During the winter months our beloved Humpback Whales (koholā) visit from Alaska to give birth, nurse their babies, and mate. Our captains are experienced in locating and maneuvering around these gentle giants in a safe and respectful way. Our private charters between December and March are extra special, and the presence of the humpbacks allow a unique opportunity for our guests to create unforgettable connections with these fascinating creatures. For those who want to drop a line, our boat is equipped with fishing gear and our experienced crew has local knowledge on where the fish are biting.

Important Information
It is illegal to swim with humpback whales in Hawaiʻi. However, depending on weather and conditions, we may offer you the opportunity to cool off with a quick dip in the ocean, away from any whales. So wear a bathing suit just in case! Snacks and refreshing beverages are provided. Please remember to bring boat-safe cups for any BYOB — no glass permitted aboard.
We recommend wearing sun protection such as sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and long sleeve shirt.
